Dave released a video for “Black” last week and now we have a stream of his debut album Psychodrama.
The project includes 11 songs and features Burna Boy, J Hus, and Ruelle.
The Neighbourhood Recordings rapper says this of his LP:
“Psychodrama my debut album is out now. I feel like my whole life’s been leading up to this one moment and I’m so happy and grateful that I can put out a project I’m this proud of. Blood, sweat, tears, and sleepless nights went into this for years and again I just hope the world enjoys hearing my story. I hope you guys have as much fun listening to it as I did making it over the past year. Crazy love for everyone supporting cause I couldn’t have done it without you…. LETS GO!”
As previously mentioned, Dave came out with footage complimenting “Black” as part of his album’s rollout. He recruited co-directors Nathan James Tettey and Edem Wornoo to help him bring his vision to life grabbing cameos from Stormzy, Raheem Sterling, Dina Asher-Smith, and Ozwald Boateng as well.
The British artist previously dropped two EPs, 2016’s Six Paths and 2017’s Game Over. The latter made it to number one on the United Kingdom’s Independent Albums Chart. Dave topped the UK standings again last year with “Funky Friday” featuring Fredo. It’s accumulated over 33.6 million views on YouTube since October 4th.
David “Dave” Orobosa Omoregie will hit the road for Psychodrama’s supportive tour beginning April 9th. He’ll visit Dublin, Glasgow, Newcastle, Nottingham, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, Sheffield, Birmingham, Leicester, Norwich, Bristol, Bournemouth, and London. You can grab tickets here.
