Jared Evan dropped a video for “Revive Me” earlier this Summer, and now the New York artist returns with a new song called “Back To Brooklyn.”

Jared had this to say about his work:

“When I was 19, I won this competition that The Source curated called the Spit 16. My prize was being able to open up and perform at The Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival. That moment symbolizes my start and where I was even before day 1. The song is a metaphor for not getting caught up in the smoke and mirrors of the music business. Not forgetting who you are. It’s about going back to where you started and never forgetting where you came from. Brooklyn symbolizes that for me.”
