Kodak Black Cancels Canadian Tour Dates Following Arrest

kodak black cancels canadian tour dates following arrest

Kodak Black will no longer be visiting Canada on his Dying To Live tour following an arrest at the border earlier this month.

LiveNation has confirmed that the “Expeditiously” rapper has canceled his upcoming performances in Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver.

“Due to unforeseen circumstances the Kodak Black shows in Montreal (4/22), Toronto (4/23), and Vancouver (5/7) have been canceled. Ticketholders can receive refunds at point of purchase,” they wrote on Facebook.

Kodak Black was taken into custody as he tried to reenter the United States at the Lewiston-Queenston International Bridge after marijuana and a Glock 9mm pistol were found in his Cadillac Escalade.

The Vancouver show was postponed from its original March 24th date at the PNE Forum. The venue announced that the postponement was due to “scheduling conflicts.”

Kodak’s DJ announced the reason behind the postponement was border issues. “I didn’t know it’s was so hard getting into Canada, but for all the fans who wanted to see Kodak Black tonight sorry! Y’all government don’t play the radio, just know we tried to get in there for y’all and Kodak is very upset about the outcome of this situation. #DyingToLiveTour,” he wrote in a now-deleted Instagram post.

Hopefully fans in Canada can catch a Kodak Black live performance in the near future.
