Yury has been making a name for himself in Brooklyn’s hip hop scene due to his introspective lyricism and captivating self-production, and now looks to display his talents on a new song called “Acetate.”
Yury had this to say about the release:
“I heard this warped recording that was done on a tape recorder by this obscure musician from Toronto. This is the only known recording by him. There was no bpm and it was super rough and raw. I started with that and created everything from a vibe more so than a story.”
Being my own engineer is fucking amazing.
